Lightsaver adds a tiny optical sensor to the oxygen mask tubing. If breathing stops, a bright red alert makes it obvious — in seconds.
In busy wards, oxygen therapy is common and staff are stretched. If a patient's breathing quietly slows or stops, there is often no clear visual signal at the bedside. Subtle changes can be missed for minutes, especially at night or when alarms are silenced.
Lightsaver adds a tiny optical sensor where the oxygen tubing meets the mask. During normal breathing a small green light glows. If breathing stops, the connector turns bright red within seconds — a clear visual alert at the patient. Our unique in-line design preserves sidestream capnography sampling, so existing monitors can continue to sample as normal.

Lightsaver is designed for standard oxygen masks and is also compatible with common airway devices used in hospitals.
Note: Compatibility depends on local setups; contact us for device specifics.
Example: red alert at an in-line connector on a ventilator circuit.
